Update regarding the 2020 / 2021 school year
After much discussion and much prayer, the Parkminster Preschool Committee has made the painful decision to close the preschool for this upcoming school year. After reading through the guidelines given by the CDC regarding reopening, we do not feel that we can safely meet all the recommendations to keep our staff and students safe and also continue to provide the type of preschool program that we have for over fifty years.
Our prayer is that we will be able to open again for the 2021-2022 school year. We are hopeful that time will provide a vaccine and better strategies for dealing with Covid-19. Our plan, at this point, would be to hold our registration period for the new school year in January.
Closing Parkminster Preschool, even temporarily, is an incredibly painful decision and not one made lightly. In these difficult and uncertain days, we cling to ancient words, "For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven... a time to cry and a time to laugh. A time to grieve and a time to dance." (Eccl. 3:14). This time we are currently facing will pass and we trust that He who sees all and knows all is faithful.
2020-2021 Registration Forms
Registration forms are now available for download. Early registration is available for current
families and alumni. Registration opens for the public after our open house.
